Prayers and Thanksgiving

One of my friends, Aimee, and her husband, Mike, will be spending Thanksgiving in the hospital. Mike is ill and won't be released for a few more days. Mike's parents are also in town for the holiday. We do not want them to have to cook or to endure hospital food for Thanksgiving. We have set up a paypal account for donations to order them a Thanksgiving meal from Mimi's (http://www.mimiscafe.com/PDF/HolidayFeast.pdf). If you would like to donate money, please click the button below.

I would also like to request that you all say a prayer for Aimee and Mike for a speedy recovery!

Thank you all so much and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Christmas is a comin'!

I know it's been awhile since I've posted an update....I apologize! We have been very busy with life in general. Briana started ballet and is the cutest ballerina I've ever seen, but then, I'm a little biased!

It's that time of year again. You know, that time of year when every commercial that come on the tv results in a chorus of "Mom, I want that for Christmas!", or "Mom, you should get that for me for Christmas!", or "Mom, I love that movie! You should get it for me for Christmas!". Little does she know that I only have two more things to get her for Christmas, along with her stocking stuffers... and all of what I got her isn't anything that she has said she wants. But I'm 100% sure she is going to love what I got her!

Yesterday, we went to Portrait Innovations to get our Christmas pictures taken. For those of you that don't know about our history of taking pictures at Sears, let me just take you on a short little picture montage trip of how our picture sessions at Sears unually end up.

We always take the group pictures first. And as you can see, my little angel is happy and smiling just perfectly!

Then we do the pictures of her and me together. She also does quite well with these too.
Then come the pictures of Briana by herself. The first one always has to be a picture where we catch her off guard. Not to shabby right?
Then we get the "I'm not quite sure if I should cry or not" picture.
Then she finally decides that yes, she should, in fact, be crying. So she does. And so ends our picture sessions.
Now for our picture session at Portrait Innovations. Like always, we started with the group pictures. She did great with these ones like always!
Then we took the pictures of her and I. Once again, she did great with these!
Now, I will let the following photo montage do the rest of the talking. You can be the judge of how the rest of the shoot went!
I don't know about you, but I think we will be taking all future pictures at Portrait Innovations!
